Location: Rackham Graduate Building, 915 E. Washington, Suite 0540
we would like your input as we
develop important tools for engaging visitors when the University of
Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA) reopens in early 2009.
Each focus group will be presented with two entirely different
strategies - one a high tech multi-user interactive table called the
Dialogtable, and the other a low tech approach which will take the
form of a series of different print-based tools available to visitors
in the galleries.
If you participated in our November focus groups, please note that
there will be substantially new information to consider. In addition
to new topics and questions, the focus groups this time combine
discussion of both tools into one longer session.
Please join us on Monday, January 28 or Tuesday, January 29 for the
opportunity to shape UMMA's interpretive strategies as they evolve.
Food and refreshments will be served!
Tue, Jan 29
12:00 – 2:00, lunch will be served
4:30 – 6:30, light dinner will be served
All sessions will be held at UMMA's office in Rackham Graduate
Building, 915 E. Washington, Suite 0540 on the lower level.
Please feel free to forward this invitation to friends and colleagues
you think would be interested in participating.
Email lherbert@umich.edu and let her know which session you'd like to
attend.
