Join the Prison Creative Arts Project as we celebrate the opening of
the 12th Annual Exhibition of Art by Michigan Prisoners. Artists from
past exhibitions, now home from prison, and Curators Buzz Alexander,
Janie Paul, and Jason Wright, will address visitors to the gallery at

The Ginsberg Center is sponsoring two final citizenship potlucks, bringing together people of diverse backgrounds and from different student groups to break bread and discuss the civic values they hold most important, and ways that we as citizens can empower ourselves and others to make change toward a more just society.
Please join us for dinner, Tuesday, March 27th, from 5:30 – 7:00. We would love to have 2 or 3 members of your student group come and be part of the discussion. Main course will be provided; please bring something to share. Space is limited to the 1st 12 people each week, so please register!

My name is John Vasquez and I am the Project Manager for the
Health-e Michigan Minds project (see attached) that is being funded by
President Coleman's Michigan Healthy Community Initiative. I am
looking for 8-10 students from COE to have a 1 hour focus group, on
March 27th at 5pm in the Johnson Room in the Lurie Engineering Center.
In exchange for your time and effort, I can't pay you, but could
probably provide dinner (pizza?).

LACS is pleased to have Eva Golinger present a talk based on her two books “The Chávez Code" and "Bush vs. Chávez: Washington's War on Venezuela," which deal with the US intervention in Venezuela, based on documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.
Eva Golinger practices international human rights law. She presently manages the New York City branch of Calderon Law Firm. She participated as an observer in the nomination and selection of judges and prosecutor to the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
Ms. Golinger has also worked with the distinguished International Women's Humans Rights Clinic at CUNY Law School.
